THE PIT

Hidden in the pit, homogenized by their black suits, dozens of musicians from different countries, with diverse experiences and instruments, put their efforts into a common goal: to create unity and disappear, for the important thing is the whole. During the performance, they remain invisible. But who are they? The Pit is a film about the musicians who play in the opera orchestra of the Gran Teatro del Liceo, about their routine work, their fears, doubts, conflicts, and passions. A metaphor about the union of seemingly distant and dispersed elements, like the particles of a single body. Music as a reflection.
